| Tim Evans plays guitar and writes a lot of the Weeds' original songs. It is his ham-handed guitar playing that helps create/limit the band's sound. Fortunately, he is smart enough to surround himself with talented people -- in the Weeds, that means percussionist Lori Tapscott and bass player/singer Jennifer Evans. Tim plays a Heartfield R&R guitar through a Musicman RD50 amp head into a 1-12" Fender speaker cabinet. He uses an array of cheezy effects. He also plays a Danelectro 12-string and Fender DuoSonic. The lad at right is Morgan Evans, the son of Tim and Jennifer -- and the Weeds of Eden's lead-player-in-training. |
